you're making me blush

February has arrived! The month of love, lust and everything in between! For all you brides-to-be walking down the aisle this month consider a blush toned dress for an extra romantic look and feel. A blush coloured dress can look dreamy on any skin tone and it is a perfect fit for a romantic theme.

Below are some stunning shots from The Lane 'Love Nostalgia' editorial. This editorial was art directed by Karissa Fanning of The Lane and photographed by Lauren Ross of Lauren Ross Photography featuring lavish blush toned dresses by Monique Lhuillier from the Spring 2012 collection.

The softness and femininity of these dresses in contrast to the rawness of the setting make for an exquisite story. Art direction has always been a passion of mine and these beautiful photographs coupling my passion of fashion and weddings has left me feeling nothing less than inspired.

Love in Watercolour

How dreamy is this wedding inspiration shoot I stumbled upon on Style Unveiled? Romantic diluted pastels with a twist of modern decor makes for a dreamy and fresh look that is perfect for a Spring rooftop reception.

Designed by Therese Jacinto of Therese Jacinto Design and Laurel Anderson of Elsa Events and photographed by Rizza Riz Photography. "Our goal was to create something unique and fresh. We wanted to do something completely different- away from anything  "vintage" inspired, which has been the trend for quite some time. The idea was to create an urban romantic look that was light, colorful, and dreamy." - Therese Jacinto

Love Not Lust With Elie Saab

Whenever I create a Red Carpet Bride post is it hard for me not to want to include a stunning couture piece by Elie Saab! To me these dresses are the epitome of a Red Carpet Bride with stunning details, brilliant bead work and effortless draping. Mr.Saab's collections cover an entire spectrum of bridal style with everything from traditional to bohemian...all with a little a lot of glamour! For more traditional brides that are not too crazy on colour imagine these silhouettes in rich creams, dazzling whites and subtle neutrals.

Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the Spring 2012 Haute Couture, Spring 2012 Runway and Fall 2011 Haute Couture collections by Elie Saab. Which one is your favorite?
